Artist's Comments
My cat, Bonny, detests my violin. She's about nine/ten years old so she likes a lot of company nowadays, and will come into my room to settle on my bed and bug me for a cuddle and dribbles all over me and then she'll shake her head and the dribble will go everwhere, but when I get my violin out to practise, she will leave immediatley.
And don't think it's my playing. All I have to do is play any of the open strings and she'll get up and leave. I poked her with my bow (as seen in this picture) and she bit it. She's really quite funny. Today I was playing my electric violin when she strode into my room, jumped on my lap and started to headbutt me. And then she tried to bite the wire leading into the violin. She is extremely stubborn. |
